How to conduct a Virtual Diabetes Foot Screening

Foot screenings are the cornerstone of good diabetic footcare and are integral in ensuring that patients who suffer with diabetes receive appropriate care from a trained professional.

Research conducted at the start of this year between Flexitol and the Royal College of Podiatry illustrated the challenge currently posed to healthcare professionals regarding the impact of COVID-19 on foot screenings. In turn, foot screenings have now evolved into becoming more a virtual medium with little guidance out there to support healthcare professionals on how to effectively conduct them.

This webinar demonstrates how to effectively conduct a virtual foot screening in line with the Royal College of Podiatry’s recent guidance. The webinar will cover:

  • Current clinical guidance
  • Overview of foot assessments
  • Advice on how to conduct a virtual foot assessment
  • Resources to support your patients
  • Interactive role-play
